Weekly Fitness Wrap-UP
Monday, June 24th – Sunday, June 30th, 2013
***NOTE TO SELF: Read post from last week. Hmmm… does this sound familiar… “I may have over done it at the beginning of the week which created rest days mid-week to end-week. I need a little more balance.” So, I did too much in the swimming department last Saturday, which made my 10 mile run last Sunday difficult towards the end. This led to two days of stretching and using the foam roller. Even though I am still trying to figure out my balance and what works for me, I am proud of what I accomplished this month. I finished the month running a total of 50 miles and joined a new gym with so many options to update my fitness routine. I also tried new workouts that I will definitely implement into my fitness routine.
Monday: Stretching exercises & foam roller
Tuesday: Stretching exercises & foam roller
Wednesday: Group Ride¹
Thursday: 4 mile outdoor run
Friday: Rest day
Saturday: Rest day
Sunday: 10 mile outdoor run
1 – Group Ride -(similar to Spinning Class) – Pedal in groups, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body. This cycling program is geared for anyone that can ride a bike. Motivating music, awesome instructors and an inspiring group environment lets you ride on!
