Welcome to Tapas Lifestyle’s Weekly Fitness Wrap-Up!
I had a great week of exercising. I had Labor Day off from work so I decided to take an hour long yoga class. It felt great after my 11 mile run the day before. Then I doubled up my exercise classes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I’m starting to feel that I am getting stronger and have more endurance. It’s a great feeling to be able to notice a positive difference in your abilities in your exercises. Always room for improvement!

Friday: Rest day
Saturday: 13.1 mile outdoor run
Sunday: Rest day
Class Descriptions (From RDV Athletic Club’s Class Schedule):
1 – Yoga – Our yoga program allows anyone to participate in any class. Each instructor will provide professional feedback, variations and modifications to accommodate all fitness levels. Experience yoga and better your overall wellness program.
2 – R30 – (similar to Spinning Class) – Get fitter in only 30 minutes! It’s as easy as riding a bike and in R30, riding a bike has never been better! Burn calories, improve muscular endurance, and build cardio fitness as you ride with surges, short intervals, power, and end with a rush! Inspiring music and motivating coaches will ensure that Everyone Finishes First!
3 – Group Core – Train like an athlete in 30-action packed minutes. A strong core, from your shoulders to your hips, will improve your athletic performance, prevent back pain and give you ripped abs! Motivating instructors and music will coach you through functional and integrated exercises using your body weight, a weight plate, a towel and a platform – all to challenge you like never before. REACH YOUR PEAK with Group Core!
4 – Group Power – (similar to Body Pump) – The barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment.
5 – Group Ride -(similar to Spinning Class) – Pedal in groups, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body. This cycling program is geared for anyone that can ride a bike. Motivating music, awesome instructors and an inspiring group environment lets you ride on!
